Kiddieland Day Care
Brief History
Kiddieland Children's Center was established in September of 1963 as a community service. Kiddieland is a non-profit, self-supporting pre-school, kindergarten, and childcare ministry of the Olympia-Lacey Church of God and is operated by a director and a team of dedicated teachers and staff, trained and qualified according to state regulations. Kiddieland is licensed by the State Department of Social and Health Services and operated in accordance with the laws and regulations set by DSHS.
Hours
Kiddieland opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, 12 months a year. We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day. If a national holiday falls on a day where the day preceding (such as Christmas Eve) could result in extremely low enrollment, we reserve the right to close on this day.
Admission
A parent or legal guardian is required to complete registration papers for each child enrolled. We serve toilet-trained 2-1/2 year olds through kindergarten. During the summer we also serve children up to 8 years old. If you are interested in obtaining additional information about Kiddieland and applying for admission, please call 360-491-0414 to schedule an appointment. We would love to hear from you.
